Program Educational Objectives- PEOs

PEO1: Engineering Graduates will excel in Electronics & Communication fields both in the industry and academics by analyzing             the requirement technically and applying their knowledge in a professional manner.

PEO2: Will enable Engineering graduates to effectively solve engineering problems and develop through research advanced                 Electronics & Communication devices and products.

PEO3: Engineering graduates will be capable of applying their knowledge both individually and as part of a team. They will be                able to effectively communicate the same to the concerned audience / forum.

PEO4: Graduates will be capable of realizing the untoward and hazardous impacts of their contributions/innovations and keep     ethical and societal values and responsibilities before individual achievements.

PEO5: Keep pace with the ongoing improvements and advancements in the field of Electronics & Communication and not only     incorporate but carry forward the same.

Program Outcomes- POs

PO1: Graduates of the program will have the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and core  engineering subjects which will assist them to find the solution to complex engineering problems.

PO2: Graduates of the program will be able to identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering        problems through network analysis, signal processing  and diverse practical skills.

PO3: Graduates of the program will be able todeliver solutions for complex engineering problems both in modular and  commercial domain coupled with processes  meeting  the specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health  and safety and cultural, societal and environmental considerations.

PO4: Graduates of the program will be able to utilizeresearch-based knowledge and methods including design of experiments,  analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO5: Graduates of the program will be able to create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern  engineering tools, including prediction and limitations.

PO6: Graduates of the program will be able to apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health,  safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PO7: Graduates of the program will be able to understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and  environmental contexts and demonstrate the knowledge of and need for sustainable development.

PO8: Graduates of the program will be able to apply ethical principles, commit to professional ethics & responsibilities and    norms derived from engineering education.

PO9: Graduates of the program will be capable of functioning effectively as an individual and in multidisciplinary settings.

PO10: Graduates of the program will be able to communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering    community and with the society at large. To be able to comprehend and write effective reports, design documentation,       make presentations, give and receive clear instructions.

PO11: Graduates of the program will be able to demonstrate knowledge, understanding of the engineering and management          principles and apply these to real world problems.

PO12: Graduates of the program will have the capability of self-preparation, spontaneous understanding and independent           leadership. 

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs) w.e.f. Session 2016-17 

PSO 1: Graduates of the program will be able to analyse real world engineering problems in the field of electronics and             communication engineering.

PSO 2: Graduates of the program will be able to design and develop systems/processes based on core concepts of electronics      and communication engineering to provide solution to multidisciplinary engineering problems.
